The Delaware Division of Motor Vehicles is responsible for the licensing of Delaware residents and the registration of modes of transportation.

When you apply for or renew a driver’s license or identification card in Delaware you will be asked if you wish to be an Organ and Tissue Donor. If you say “yes”, a red heart graphic will be displayed on your credential and DMV record. There are brochures available at the DMV front desk containing information about organ and tissue donation.
