Donate Life Delaware
Donate Life Delaware promotes Organ and Tissue Donation and Transplantation throughout the state. Gift of Life Donor Program and the Delaware Organ and Tissue Donor Awareness Board collaborate to educate and encourage Delawareans to say "yes" to organ and tissue donation. Our efforts are aimed at saving the lives of thousands of Delawareans awaiting life-saving transplants. Today, there are more than 400 Delawareans and more than 100,000 people in the United States waiting for lifesaving organ transplants. However, only 50 percent of licensed drivers and ID card holders have committed themselves to donation by registering at the Delaware DMV making the donor shortage a public health crisis.
